Medical errors resulted in the death of my husband and a serious injury to my son.  I believe that reforming the medical liability system is a crucial foundation for efforts to enhance quality of care in the American health care system.  Working together, consumers can help to bring about the kind of changes we need that improve patient compensation, enhance accountability for health care providers, and facilitate patient safety initiatives.
